Our mission is to bring hospitality workers back to the job and help solve the worker shortage problem. We’re partnering with the AHLA Foundation’s Empowering Youth Program which recruits young people for entry-level hotel positions. With the help of local community-based organizations, the program nurtures and develops young adults with the training, tools and support that will lead to permanent careers in hospitality.
The program provides pathways to opportunity and success that will lead to lifelong employment
It will increase access to quality talent for in-demand positions and improve staff retention year after year
For every hotel that purchases* Relay, we will sponsor a member of the AHLA’s Empowering Youth Program. Each sponsorship will either go to a certification, job shadowing or tuition sponsorship.
We’re partnering with the hotel and lodging industry to help fill the critical labor shortage long-term by sponsoring a hotel employee’s training and development.

Luzmary Gomez and Robert Soto are the first two recipients of a scholarship through the Relay it Forward program. Luzmary is studying food techniques and learning about food and contemporary cakes while Robert completed his degree in Hospitality Management.Â
